The beautiful deep garnet color along with the smoky aromas of black cherry ignite your senses on a journey through Cherry groves kissed by sun light on a warm spring day. Blackberry and plum greet the front palate as creamy, smooth tannins cover mid palate bringing forth the long tobacco finish.
Harvested October 23rd at 24.3 Brix. Inoculated with a Saint Emillion, Bordeaux yeast. This special selected yeast has characteristics of strawberry jam, caramel and spice. It also enhances color intensity and tannin structure. The 2018 vintage is an age worthy wine and will improve for years to come.
Composition: 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Syrah, 5% Petit Verdot
Aging: 23 months in 100% French oak. 32% new, 16% 4-year-old, and 52% neutral.
Alcohol: 14.8%
