Port has been crafted in Portugal for centuries. Our "AKA Port" may not have such an illusttious history, but it shares many of the Old World characteristics: a color like liquid rubies and aromas of sweet cherry, cassis and blackberry jam. It's silky, smooth and luxurious - a touch of fresh fruity sweetness and lingering notes of dried cranberry and cherry with touches of butterscotch, nutmeg and toasted almonds.

Aging: 40 months in neutral French oak barrels
Interesting Facts: Harvested on September 17th & 18th at 26.6 Brix. Pressed out at 11.0 Brix and fermentation arrested in tank with the addition of 169 proof/84.5% alcohol grape brandy. this procedure is similar to the vinification of Port from Portugal. The main focus is the balance of alcohol, residual sugar, color and flavor.
